Cusco Drift button

I am trying to install a a drift button my fd but i cant seem to get the ebrake cover off to remove the spring. Is there any trick to removing it?

This installs in the e-brake to eliminate the need to press the button in order to release the lever. Also features a larger surface area for more precise use during drifting.
They seem to be the new craze with the 240 and Honda guys.
