crank the engine?

I know this might be a dumb question, but I garaged my car for the winter and I pulled the battery. I'm getting it up and running this spring so i haven't started it yet and I've been reading on fd3s.net about starting it up again after sitting for months. They say i need to pull the EGI fuse and crank the engine 6-10 times to wet my internal parts with oil. OK so i understand i just don't know how to "crank" the engine. So any information would be helpful. Thank you all in advance.

Put the key in the ignition and try to start it. With the EGI pulled, the car won't start, but it will turn the engine over to start the lubrication system moving oil through the rotating parts.
