Is it possible for our cars to blue access blue smoke if you accidently over filled the Oil Filler neck??? because I think I did that accidently, you see I checked my cars oil when the car is cool and I added alot when the car was cold to bring the level to the Full mark. Could this be why my car is blowing out blue smoke at first start up??

 

Overfilling the oil is not a good thing for the car. You need to drain out enough to get back to the proper level ASAP.

 

you should put in 4 - 4.5 quarts. I overfilled once ( 5 quarts) and my car started smoking from what appperaed to be the turbos. oil got into the turbo system and was spilling out the intercooler hose to the turbos. helped me find a boost leak, but could have easily done more harm.
