Congrats pimpin!!!

I've been following the OneLap for a long time. It is nice to see an FD, or even a rotary, do well; it is about time.
Leave it up to Damian to succeed. Great work Damian, it must feel good to be ranked in that prestigious group. |

sounds like a lot of fun!! Congrats
|
Congratulations indeed! That is no small feat, not with any car let alone a capricious FD!
And the time it takes, as well as the cost.....wow! Good job...no, GREAT JOB, guys! :icon_tup: :icon_tup: |
congrats :)

congratulations, its allways good to see a fd do so well, good job. :smiley309

Just finishing that event is a big accomplishment. I takes a lot of fortitude... both of the car and drivers! They're probably STILL catching up on sleep.

But from a quick look at the OLOA site: In 1993 Ken Juran and John Schiefele ran an FD in the race, finishing 36th overall. In 1995, John Ames and Lindsey Wilson placed 9th overall in their '93 FD. 1996 - 14th overall - Jeff Littrell and Kevin Wyum 1997 - 9th overall - Cameron Worth and Motozo Fujikawa 1998 - 27th - Rick Potter and Steve Cole 1999 - 6th overall - Potter and Cole 2000 - 8th overall - Potter and George Samuels (1st in class - SSGT2) 2000 - 13th overall - Gregory Stasiowski and Dale Black 2001 - 4th overall - Potter and Samuels (1st in SSGT2) 2001 - 10th overall - Mark O'Dell and Bill Gratton (4th in SSGT2) 2001 - 28th overall - Stasiowski and Black 2002 - 6th overall - Stasiowski and Black (2nd in SSGT2) There are several others that I missed. So the RX-7 has a long history in OLOA. It's been missing from the lineup the past couple of years, but has done really well overall with more than half a dozen top ten finishes. -bill |
Congratulations guys! :)
