check engine light on

my check engine light is on. I did a cel check by jumping the diagnostic box.I am getting one long flash followed by 6 fast flashes. about three months ago I replaced the EGR valve and 02 sensor. I cleared the ECU but it comes back at start up. any suggestions

Hey Dave. Thanks for the reply. I reset the ECU and it drove fine until I got off the Freeway and stopped at a light. then the light turned on again. I am going back to the shop and have them look at it. I might have to do the EGR relay thing to cure the problem or change the ECU. I need to find a N3A4 ECU for an auto California car if anyone has one send me a PM.

does you cel come on and stay on?
i was driving around and mine would come up randomly
it threw only the egr code at the time
but since the cel never stays on solid,ill leave it as is...doesnt bother me too much

if you dont need it and its bothering you, get rid of it
im jsut too lazy to install a relay on mine and since mine doesnt stay on at all times
