That is not the case. A standard spark plug socket will work fine.

The thin wall socket is only for certain race plugs that have the hex for the spark plug recessed into the rotor housing. Plain NGK BUR7EQP and 9EQP's work wonderfully and don't need a special plug wrench.

On a bolt-on modified car it's worth running all 9's for plugs. If you're going large horsepower and single turbo it may be worth looking into exotic plugs.

And if you put them in from the bottom, remember to lube with anti seize....and you should probably slap your car on the ass after each plug.

Car has been on jackstands for weeks because I cant get the two main cat bolts off at the downpipe. I'll go in from the bottom tonight.
