the 4 hoses that come from the intake... what is the hose on the upper intake on the top that isnt the crv or the air pump. as cramped as my engine bay is, im trying to save some space by eliminating these massive lines.

im going to put the crv to atmospere, air pump is on its way out, i have the hks ssqv in, which only leave one line left. what is it for? i noticed this guy has it capped off. dont mind the arrow...

also, what are the two lines that come off the lower intake elbow?

 

Air pump relief line. If you don't have the air pump installed, you can block it off. If you do have the air pump installed, it needs to be able to vent somehow.

The two lines off the primary turbo inlet elbow are for:

* Oil injectors
* Crank case venting

 

great. im a little confused because the vacuum diagram only shows one of the lines coming off the lower intake elbow when there are 2. would you happen to where the aft nipple on the elbow goes to? i know the foward one goes to the track thing that goes up the side of the intake manifold.


also, i have seen it a couple times in some engine bay shots and recently in the junk yard. some people plug one of the big lines that come off the intake with this and run a smaller vacuum line to somewhere else. i can never see where. would you happen to know anything about this?
