A/C Removal Knowledge needed

ok, maybe i just suck but i been searching the site for A/C removal threads and couldnt find one, maybe i didnt look in th right place,i dont know, i tried the advace search and the archives, i got nothing. So if someone can enlighten me with a link or some info. on what i'm getting myself into that would be great. My A/C system is currently no good so i was thinking of just doing away with it, help me out guys, is this a pain? the heat is not a problem i just dont have any use for it.

Actually, it is not all that easy to search on this board for two letter terms.

Try 'AC* removal' as a search term.

However, while common, this is a dumb modification on a street FD. If you value resale, leave it. AC systems are not that hard to fix.
