Boost controller question

Alright my question is that could I use a boost controller to limit my boost at a specific psi. Im considering getting a mid pipe but Im not going to get an ecu for a while. So far with a dp, cb, intake, and soon fmic, do you think that i could limit the boost to have these mods intill I get an ecu to turn up the boost. Another question is, how good does a boost controller work with the stock seq. turbos? Whould I get a spike that would cause me to hit boost cut? Thanks.

With a midpipe, many people experience boost creep, which cannot be fixed with a boost controller. Boost controllers work by actively monitoring boost, and adjusting how far the wastegate is open to speed up or slow down the turbos. Creep occurs when the wastegate is fully open, but the turbos are still spinning too fast, so boost slowly "creeps" up.

That being said, some owners don't have boost creep issues, every car is different.

As far as which controllers work, the GReddy Profec B or Profec B Spec II work fine with the stock sequential system.
