Smile "Black Friday" shopping plans?

Any of you guys getting anything interesting for your cars?

I see Sakebomb and JP3 with some sales and am considering some goodies...

Sakebomb (ign1a kit) and JP3 (fuel system and catch can) already got my money. I’m on the lookout for a deal on a Radium surge tank and Fuelab 49614 brushless pumps. Happy parts shopping season.

I enjoy the "standard" 10% off they are running every year for the usual holidays in the US, like labor day, veteran day and black friday. Its pretty trustworthy and transparent.

Here in norway we have some laws stating that any "deals" with lower prices must have a real "before" price, and that that price have to be at least 4 weeks old.
This makes October the most expensive month to buy stuff since everyone increase their prices by 5-25% in order to have it "on sale, 25% off" for November.

LOL !!
On TV or newspaper ads here in the US, a huge % of advertisers offer 2 for the price of 1, "buy 2, get 1 free", 25% off the second item or similar crap. Of course that's all BS because they have fictitious "normal" prices that no one actually pays. There are only a few that advertise the actual price that you really wind up paying.

It, IMO, is ridiculous because the "discount sellers" act as if all the potential customers are too stupid to see through their ruse.

I got an Emtron KV8 and a lambda controller (so I can have one o2 sensor for each rotor) for 15% off.

Nice!!! I've really been interested in the Emtron, but have only seen 2-3 other people who have them on rotaries. Really excited to see your progress with the 3 rotor.

It's got some really neat software that'll do more than I'll probably ever need it to do. They've got a semi-peripheral port turbo first gen at the shop that runs on one and the thing drives much more pleasantly than what we would probably think of and has a bunch of other neat stuff that I think could be of use to this platform. The fact that I don't have to purchase extra stuff to unlock different functions (or locked to a specific brand of accessories) was another thing that sold me on it.
Regarding the 3 rotor If I do it right, I'll have a very fast lawnmower. It'll be interesting to see if how it works in relation to the other handful of peripheral port 20b setups that I can get data on.

The emtron kv series is what I plan to go to at some point. Very flexible. Is that your ssm at badcatengineering ? Pretty sure you’re talking about Justin’s semi p port setup that’s there.

Yep, that's mine, and I was referring to his car. It was the first semi peripheral car I'd been in and they've got it set up to the point that I thought it was more civil than some of the other single turbo street port setups I've been in, which was pretty cool. It even has working air conditioning!

Justin and Carl know what they’re doing. I was there recently and got to check out his car and yours. Neat stuff going on at that shop.

Very cool. I have been watching what those guys are doing with that first gen. I don't think I had put 2 and 2 together to realized that's where your car was. Very interested to see how the emtron works out.
