Bad spark plug - could I have your opinion?

Hello!

I have changed my spark plugs yesterday and one of them looks especially bad (the three other ones look normal I’d say).

I was wondering what you guys think about that. I don’t know if it’s related or not but I have also been having hesitations at high load (1,2,3 gears are fine but full throttle on 4th and 5th sometime give me these hesitations that concern me a great deal now), every time I go play with the car and experience these I am at altitude (and uphill).

Anyway, thanks for your feedback.

P.S. the last time they have been changed was when the engine was rebuilt by the previous owner (~12000 miles ago).

P.S.S I have the stock ECU and the rest of my mods are listed in my sign.

Could be spark plug wires or coils getting weak or already out of spec.

How many miles on the car? How much boost do you run?

The car has 90000 miles, engine has 14000, the wires have been changed during the rebuild but I don't know about the coils.

I am running stock, boost, stock ECU.

You need to change your plugs every 6000 miles or so.

Plugs on my car 311 rwhp only last 4000-5000 miles. Also all 9s instead of 7s and 9s.

Reading Plugs

Well some good advice above but to me all your plugs look like crap--it may just be the pictures but I like to see my plugs light brown--the pictures show plugs from my turbo RX8,but my RX7 plugs come out similar color. If the wires and coils check out ,then you likely have too much fuel and/or too much oil.

That often?!? Thanks for the tip.

By the way, even if I have stock power use all 9s?

What? RX8 turbo??? Is that with the Pettit kit (even though it's compressor not turbo).

Well it seems like the RX8 plug design is a bit different than the RX7 plug's design then.

Other people please chime in...

Thanks for all these advices so far,l please keep going...?

Greddy turbo kit.If you can afford to buy them ,RX8 type plugs work in an RX7,but more RX8 owners use the RX7 type plugs because they perform better at higher boost pressures.
