Well, now it's time to show some progress of the repairs. The hood is being repaired because the turbo coupler would blow off and the clamp would hit the hood. I'm so happy that the car is coming back together. So far, the total cost is 800 in parts and 3.5k in labor so around $4,300.00 I could be a little less when I negociate even further hehe.
mY black FD cost me a G (1000) to get it fixe and painted.... oh and I lost it. being stupid getting on the freeway it had just rainned and it was wet i steppd on it and that was it .. nxt thing you know I was hawlling dawn trees and sht on the side of the road.. my door and Quater was bad.. 4 times worts than urs lol my bois dad runs a boddy shop around here and got damn i was glad!! but yeah any other shop i was looking at 4,5 . ..... hope insurance took care of that! |

You can't beleive 4300.00 to fix without insurance.
Mine's costing a lot more than that cause I had the same instance were I only had liability. We call this the love for the FD and much more. Plus my rear subframe was bent and had to be realigned. I've posted pics in a previous thread. The cars good to go just need to fit the bill. Thank g-d a family friend is taking care of it. Here are few of those pics to satisfy those curious of what it cost to bring back to life a totaled FD. But back to the thread (sorry for thread jacking) topic, good on you for bringing it back to life (since I can put a price on mine I definitely think its worth it and much more).... |
