almost there...starting problem

did a search, just didn´t get any answers....
the car was a mess when I got it.. needed new diff and new cooling fan motor, new sparks, new battery, and some other stuff...... but thats all sorted out. Now however the car wont start, been driving it with no problem but now it´s dead.
there is fuel coming out of the exaust. so far I´m thinking alot about what I´ve seen here about wide open injection, coz it seems to be getting all the fuel in the world..... experts what do you think???? What could be the problem
thanks

thanks man, I need that. Well it´s all stock, I´m not doing any mods until I fully understand, and fix all the problems, have had quite a war with the cooling system ( turned out it was a bad fan motor ) now I´m dealing with this

... so guys any ideas

your motor sounds flooded.
do a search on how to deflood your engine in this forum.

prolly should throw new plugs int here too for good measure.

I did the shorter version of the deflood, that I found here on the forum
disconnected the battery.
pulled the EGI fuse
removed plugs
connect battery

crank motor for few sec.
wait few min
crank motor for few sec
wait

put EGI and plugs back in
she started but died ( system out of fuel of course )
start again and BINGO

runs great.

I´ve also seen the 3000pm rule so I´m gonna start using it so this will not happen agian, but I almost never start the car without letting it rise to the normal temp.
This club is gold for a new rx7 owner like me.
