I ran 850/1600 injectors on a 60-1. Put down 375rwhp with a blown turbo @ 15psi. Car saw up to 18psi on pump gas. Never detonated or anything like that. I thank the tuner for that!

KaoticFdR1 03-21-06 11:03 AM

550/1600 452.1 with some problems @21 and my AF61R

Broken09 03-21-06 11:14 AM

It's really dependent on what turbo you're running, but you should be fine

what computer do you plan on running? What power do you want to make? Who's tuning your car? It's not a question of what size injectors will work ok on a stock motor, but more like the tune that it will receive. If you want that engine to last make sure you have an expert tune it correctly.

CrispyRX7 03-21-06 02:36 PM

factory stock motor - 550/1300 injectors - GT35R @ 14/15psi

If I were you I'd wait for Gaby to come up. He should be up here in the next month or so to tune. Or if you'd like.... I could hook you up with my map that made that power but you'd have to switch to 850/1600s.

FD Rey 03-21-06 04:25 PM

I just realized you're going with an LT10, so I'd deff wait for Gaby to come up. He's on of the best Microtech tuners around.

GTI337 03-21-06 06:28 PM

i got the filter from summit racing. they have every size k&n for a good price

willjs7 03-21-06 08:07 PM

sorry, not familier with gaby

GoodfellaFD3S 03-22-06 12:57 AM

I have a bad feeling about all this......remans and 'factory stock' motors are the same thing.

Go check out Max Cooper's site, he has some great info on fuel systems and hp requirements. someone can provide the link.

Also, make 100% that the person tuning your car knows their shit, or they will be handing you back your keys while you look for a tow truck to haul your blown motor FD away.

last thing, kai---how much boost are you running on that bigass turbo with 550s and 1300s?

Most of the Microtech guys know who he is. He has tuned a lot of Central Florida RX-7s. He is a superb tuner. Tuned my old car, my brother's old car, Kabooski's 520rwhp FC, G's 3rd Gen twin turbo monster, ijneb's car, just to name a few of the forum members that he has tuned. Nothing but the best results from him. He's a Microtech expert and a Rotary expert. He builds and races his own rotary powered cars in Puerto Rico. The guy is GOOD.

Thanks Goodfella for making one of the first good posts in this thread.

To the OP, if you are serious about doing what your talking about doing you dont seem to be very educated of the topic...Actually you dont seem to be educated at all. You didnt even know that a reman was a stock motor for chirst sake.

How about you do a few weeks worth of searching and find out what you really wanna do before you blow your motor, make any more stupic posts, etc. You will be glad you did in the long run.

And...Stop typing in all caps!

Nat6c 03-22-06 07:13 PM

give him a break guys, he probably knew they are both stock but meant, a reman or Original engine; at least i hope... :squint:

los

ROTORHP 03-22-06 08:20 PM

I am going to run 550/1600's since Rey run them, and I own his old turbo kit. Dont know if everyone knows about Max's page but here you go...you can punch in what you are running or going to run then it tells you what rwhp you can yield.

http://www.maxcooper.com/rx7/how-to/...tem/calcs.html

Umm...Is that your new turbo in your avatar Rey???

r1dreamer 03-22-06 08:27 PM

I run 850/1600s. I used the stock 850s, and modified the rail to make them work. And yes, that is my new turbo :)

ROTORHP 03-24-06 02:13 PM

Doh! Shit ... I typed 550 instead of 850. My bad.

turb0x2 03-24-06 02:23 PM

550/1600..stock motor..417rwhp @15psi..T-78 and as a couple others have stated please do some research and NO more caps!
