Does any body with a Front Mount have any problems with their AC. My mechanic is telling me that my condensor is being restriced by ther Front Mount. Is any one else having this problem?

Your A/C won't work properly without adequate condesing airflow. If your A/C's cooling capacity seems diminished and unsatisfactory, then you should be concerned about the airflow.

Mine sucks. It's good on the interstate, but around town, forget about cool air.

mine works ok, but it would like it to be colder. plus with the power fc. it only works on 1 and 2 blower speed. on the expressway its ok. But still want it colder. maybe i should consider this ducting thing.

only shitty thing about the fans is the current draw. but i'd kinda like to keep the stock fans on the condenser and put a taurus fan on the radiator. i think i'd use up all my pwm's controlling it all, though.

the thing about condensors is that the lines are hard and its not like you can make your own.. Plus there needs to be enough air to do the heat exhange.

I have a Blitz FMIC which stands vertically. The M2 radiator with the A/C condensor coil on it "as it was in the stock postion" is at about a 50 degree angle to the IC. Most air goes through the IC into the void "space" between them first then through them. A little air can be sucked around the IC end tanks.

Has always ran as good as it was stock. So what is wrong with your design?

Since converting the A/C fittings to R134 type and running AUTOCOOL, my A/C is better than new.

you could but your a/c would not work...

I live in New Orleans and that is not an option.

In fact I've even considered a few things to enhance my a/c lol.

Yesterday my a/c was hot so, I went to work with a local FD shop here. Found that 1 of my aluminum lines that goes into the a/c dryer (near battery) had a leak. we replaced the line, drained the R-12 system, changed fitting to R134a did a flush and refilled with R-134a and WOW! its the best its ever been at least since I've owned it. I know R-12 is better ingeneral but I was always short on freon.

I have a GReddy 3row and the condensor is also on the Radiator but they run parallel to the FMIC. The inter cooler is blocking the flow to the condensor. My macanic also suggested a fan and/or building a plate that covers the front part of the engine bay. He believes that the fans are pushing the air up and out and if there was a plate it would for the air through the condensor.

The AUTOCOOL R12 replacement is more efficient than 134 and 12.

Wouldn't fabbing A/C lines be just like fabbing hard brake lines? Wondering, as that I've never fabbed A/C lines before.
