ABS light problem

My ABS light has recently come on. I start the car and wait for less than a minute then my ABS lights up. I have a pfc and a few other mods.. The light stays on for the duration of the time I am driving the car. Could it be a dirty sensor? i am stumped.. any suggestions would be great thank you

to add some notes. The car doesn't have to move at all. The car will be sitting at idle and all i have to do is lightly rev the engine and the light will come on.

don't know too much about abs sensors on rx7 but on other vehicles they can come on for alot of reasons. such as dirty sensor in rear diff, broken tone ring in rear diff, or bad wheel bearing causing front speed sensors not to read properly.

hmm.. 500th post and more to report... fromw hat I can remember on the day the light wnt on I finished installing my FC1000 ignition amp and I remember feeling a small pop sorta in the break pedal when i was coming to a stop, i'm not sure if it was somethign significant just trying to throw things out there. i have 93 so i can't check codes.. umm from what i've read bad sensors are triggered when the car starts moving..

i had the same problem twice! the first time i disconected the batt and that made it go away. then the other time i blew the fuse. if your lights dont work when you open the door, then thats the problem. in the fuse box its called the rear wiper fuse. hope any of this could help!

^ lol, I pulled that fuse and lost it but didn't think anything of it (just a rear wiper). After turning the car on the ABS warning light was on. I will replace the fuse tomorrow and get more spares.

there are few possibilities to the ABS light turns on when you have the car cranked on:
1) For every certain time you cranks the key, the ABS turns on itself for a long duration to check the system, this stays on EVEN if you turned ur car off once in a while.
2) Like some other members posted up above, dirty sensor, wheel speed senor.
3) Or the ABS sensors are going bad, like a rock or something hit it before, altered the space between the wheel speed ring and the senor which will cause the ABS light to turn on.
This should help most people how the ABS/light works.
