ok so its not running on the rear rotor which has 95psi compression.... verified there is spark and fuel....please any thoughts???

t2ae 12-28-12 01:16 PM

update*** found out for sure it is running on the rear rotor.. still have either horrible ignition issues or wiring....runs like poop! sounds like a big port...found there are two wires going to the ecu that arent connected to anything. one is brown and yellow which from what im reading might explain my fuel temp sensor code but the other is either purple and black or blue and black. anyone knows what this would go to?

Just a thought but I do have a horrible exhaust leak at the manifold...could the do it??

t2ae 12-29-12 06:03 PM

think i found the issue. ....checked fuel pressure and found just at idle is at 75psi!! with that being said will just a ajustable fpr fix this?

that is a big problem ...lol thats the first thing i was going to say after i looked at your video...thats why its rining like shit...poping and your idle is all messed up

if you know about exhaust leek you should have fixed that first

to fix your fuel presure look in to aromotive FPR

best thing you can do for that car- wire everything back where it needs to be and reconect OMP - simplify vacuum lines ...retun it to stock with reliability mods

who ever worked on that car left it all messed up

t2ae 01-01-13 10:15 PM

so im a little confused on this fuel pressure..... ive been reading through the fsm and it shows 71-106psi is correct?? this is before it enters the fuel rail.... my question is why am i getting no pressure at all behind the fpr?? please someone help me on this. i cant even get the car to start now

t2ae 01-01-13 10:50 PM

also forgot to ask....is any problem going to be from the fuel pumps wired pretty much straight through a seperate replay straight to the battery. as is the pcm never sees what the fuel pump is doing

t2ae 01-02-13 06:24 AM

also is the fuel pump resistor required to be ran in circuit with this?

t2ae 01-03-13 07:36 AM

ok so still having this problem. any input would be great guys! where im at right now is i feel that something is causing the fuel not to regulate? it is at 75psi and i just put a known good fpr but no change. has anyone ever seem the fuel pulsation damper ever caus this kind of fuel restriction as its the only other thing in the fuel supply besides injectors

t2ae 01-04-13 05:58 AM

fixed...

think a little electrical tape jammed in the end of the primary fuel rail could do this!!! lol. so glad i was able to figure this out. i would just love to know how this got in there!
