93 tail light conversion to 99 spec
Yes. The parts are, as far as I'm concerned, interchangeable. I have not done the swap myself, but I know that you can get the parts through multiple vendors, one being Remy at FDNewbie.com.

Don't know why it popped into my head but I bet Ramy could source from Mazda Japan the interior lenses of the lights.
Thats all thats different.
The 93-95 are flat red/orange and can be purchase from Mazda USA or Mazdatrix.
The 99's and up have raised circles that are red/orange with the remainder of the lenses black.
I've got a very very late (rare) model 95. When I took the taillights apart the lenses were red/orange but had the raised circles. This made it very easy to make accurate templates for a pair of 94 taillights that I picked up real cheap of ebay. Between the lights and the material I wound up spending 80.00 total.
