Mine has done that a few times since I bought it over a year ago. Just turn off the Engine and restart it. The blinking should go away.

Don't know why it does that, but I'm sure "it's" trying to tell us something.

mine has recently started to do the same damn thing. My guess is that if you hold any gear for too long the tranny fluid heats up too much.As a safety measure I believe that the tranny ecu shuts the hold feature off untill the fuild cools down.Ive been able to re engage the hold feature after a short period of driving without it.Hold stopped blinking and I was able to reengage.Otherwise if it keeps blinking the tranny ecu has codes.

The Flashing "HOLD" light is the trans ecu's equivlant of the Check Engine Light - it tells you the trans ecu has detected a problem - usually high fluid temp or low fluid pressure - Check your fluid level and top off as necessary - also change the fluid at Least every 12 months or 12k miles - The FD's engine produces power near the limit of the Auto Trans' rated power capabilities and so puts a lot of stress (heat) on the fluid. Shutting the car off does reset the Trans ecu.

Cross the TAT and GND terminals in the diagnosis box and turn on the ignition switch.....the "hold" light will flash the codes at you (they are in the manual). This will tell you what to look for.....you may also want to check the wires running to the button in the console to make sure they are not broke...
