Can you convert a rx7 to 6 speed. Because I wanna convert mines to 6 speed. If you guy know where to find 6 Speed conversion kit please tell me . Thanx

You can get a 6 speed from a J-Spec FD also.

 

Really? What year/model? none of my literature even hints at it..

Re-editing this, Im gonna retract my questions and say

No - it was never available in japan with a 6-spd

Perhaps the Miata is what you are referring to

 

I see that you were born June 13th, 1988, which would make you 14 years old.....so how's your FD running? Race anybody today ?

 

Yeah, you might want to just stick with whatever gears and ratios your Huffy came with. If you REALLY want to go faster, remove the kickstand, reflectors, the fmb (front-mount basket), and of course the streamers coming out of the handles (lots of drag)

wtf how did i miss that post about the dog speed thing.. are there any others or is that the only 'kit' option ?

 

^This guy is 16 years old. I think they let me have a learner's permit when I was 16. I think I would have killed myself if I had an Rx7 at that age.

I got my FD when i was 16 and ow i'm going on 18 but besides that fact this kid is FUNNY

 

HKS makes a 6 spd gearset

 

There are a couple kits out there. I've only seen the one that basically sticks another 5th gear on the back. Not really what the intention was.

I've seen this discussion about the dog cut gears before. While I think it's interesting, I suck at rev-matching so non-synchro gearboxes are out-of-the-question. Plus, I'd rather waste my money on go-fast modifications.
