Where to buy OEM part?

Hey all,
As the title states, where can we get a good deal on OEM Mazda parts? Unfortunately, I am in need of expensive ass main wiring harness and FPD.
Thank you, Jay

eBay is your best bet for 2nd hand oem parts. If you want new, Atkins rotary, Malloy Mazda, Jim Ellis mazda parts, there's a few others....Google is your friend.

yea.... what he said.

keep in mind there are a lot of aftermarket options for FD parts..... like... A LOT. just about every part on the FD has an aftermarket option to include the engine harness. The FPD can be deleted safely and is a pretty common mod if youre interested in that. it would save you a lot of money vs buying new.

FD3s Pulsation Damper Elimination

if you are interested in a really nice engine harness thats brand new and holds its value better than a stock one then check out rywire.

Malloy Mazda is no more, and hasn't been for some time now. Ray Crowe, the salesmen who made MM the go-to, is back in the game and his current contact info is all over this forum.

There's been a rather large push in the turbo performance world, especially here, to stop eliminating the FPD. That's starting to become old school mentality which no longer is as widely accepted as it once was. If you're making relatively low power then sure, it doesn't matter, but any serious power and you're keeping/upgrading the FPD.

So the long and short of it is, proceed to replace your FPD with OEM, unless you're making real power, then check out some options from Radium.

Keep the fpd with high power under the assumption that you're using stock rails or that when you upgrade rails you should purchase an aftermarket fpd?

I use Amayama.com for anything i need. Shipping is quick, but they do not stock parts so there are about a week for them to buy parts from Mazda Japan. Even so, i ahve yet to find a place that beat their prices, and they ship to Europe about as fast as most USA based shops.

RHDJapan list a large number of OEM Mazda parts including the wiring harnesses

Nah, aftermarket FPD on aftermarket rails. If you're running in series you can run a single FPD after the fuel exits the second rail, if you're running in parallel mount one on each rail.

I need/want to add two FPD's when I put everything back together this fall..

Even with all the data Chris collected in his recent thread on FPD, he feels a single FPD is sufficient even in parallel. For most applications 2 is superfluous and adding cost and complexity.

If you're running parallel and only have a FPD on a single line than that would mean that the other set of injectors are going without any dampening. No?

Unless you're placing the FPD before the fuel lines split, but then you're only smoothing out potential pulses from pump, with no accountability for anything from the injectors opening/closing.

Great supplier for oem gaskets and more!

I use Atkins rotary for oem gaskets and other parts that you'll need while owning an FD. Their prices are good and they ship out hella fast!
