Original FD Head Unit/Radio

Purchased a 1992 FD RHD that came with a MiniDisc Player/CD Radio. Because it is a Japanese car, the radio only gets stations between 70.0 and 90.0. I would just use the CD and MiniDisc, but they are not working. Also, the radio screen is scratched to hell and makes the car look awful. Other than the radio, the car is perfect, and it only has 2600 original km. I am looking for someone who has a stock double din radio/CD player. Mine was not the Bose, but if the Bose head unit would work, I would be fine with that. Just trying to make the radio match the stock appearance of the rest of the car. If anyone has their original radio sitting around or if you are parting out, please let me know.

Also, if I posted this in the incorrect place, please hit me over the head and I will try to do better next time.

Thanks!https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...8211f696c4.jpg

If you want an OEM look... go hunt down a NB Miata (1999-2005) radio. It's basically the same radio the 1999+ Mazda RX-7 got in Japan... but in English.

Here's an install on an older car of mine.

Here's a few threads on the install:

Matt,

That looks pretty good. I'm going to need to do this to my 93 when I finally get done with all the other engine work. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah. It's one of my go-to OEM style updates.

The other thing I forgot to mention was; that head unit has a bunch of aftermarket support. You can add a CD changer, AUX in (as seen on my old iPhone), USB and even Bluetooth. GROM Audio makes the adapter I used, but I'm sure there are others out there.
