They have been recovered...all of Pettits Bonzai cars are like that.

Word.
But some came with that stitching pattern from the factory, I can't remember how they got that way, either port installed or early models.

oh tell me about it, theyre re-amemiya spats from around 1995 i swear. i hate the whole kit, but i cant just remove the spats because of all the discoloration and goop thats there. i had to cut them too to fit the diffuser. the entire car is all oldscool re-amemiya. shoot my face. lots $$ to replace it all, and no one wants to buy any of it :icon_tdow

The front is fine, but removing the sides and rear skirts shouldn't be a huge deal. The paint underneath shouldn't be too hard to fix, nothing some paint correction or even a clay bar wouldn't take care of!

Build date is 07/92, not sure about the stitching though I am learning new things everyday. This week Lopez Racing is gonna go over the car with me so I can decide where to go next with it. I also have a few parts I bought and just waiting for those to get here to replace broken things. A/C needs to be done also, so hot in this Miami weather.

I also doubt it is a Pettit bonzai car or else someone stole my 20b!
