they are at least better than 90% of the other wheels runining most of the FD's in this thread. such a shame.

so many FD's with potential, absolutely ruined with horrible, cheap, ugly, horribly sized crap for crap wheels.

rizzxx7 04-08-11 05:44 PM

Give an example

Wow 90%, that's practically everybody...would love to see how perfect your wheels are.

lmao +1

any sunk wheels = super lame! You don't like stretched rubber? FINE... guess what ? it's not an excuse to buy wheels with gay offsets. It's not that hard to find proper offsets/sizes that will sit flush with the fenders, while still using the recommended tire sizes. Same thing goes with 4x4 suspension setups :icon_tdow

rizzxx7 04-08-11 06:39 PM

Like I said, give an example

bewtew 04-08-11 07:14 PM

Summit HEART, i dig you car.. sick color combo for a track car. Where is the color of ur car from? kinda looks like mine..

wutangben, WTF are u talking about? most of the guys on here have very nice wheels. what wheels do YOU have?

Viking War Hammer 04-08-11 07:26 PM

You the man dawg, sign my hood! :egrin:

KaiFD3S 04-08-11 07:43 PM

He probably means like this, and I agree I dont like the way it looks. I will change it once I can afford some decent 18's and then adjust my coilovers accordingly. The 17's are just not big enough to clear some shit daily driving so I had to raise it up a bit. Just you wait, I'll be hella flush asap. Im thinking 18" Work vsx's.

As for the gram lights, man I love those wheels, my preference would be a different colour.

:(

Viking War Hammer 04-08-11 07:53 PM

Don't sweat it, all that matters is if you're happy with it.

my comment was meant as a light hearted joke on the brightness...my wheels aren't the best by any means so no negative intended to post

oh, i know. i was just using your comment as an excuse to post what's been building up inside. i don't want to post it RIGHT after someone with bad wheels posts, because i don't want to single anyone out. i knew you weren't hating.

as far as some examples, i'll dig some up.

and i'll give slack on fitment, because we all know that we all have our own tastes when it comes to that. but you can still have decent wheels without "proper" fitment.

wutangben 04-08-11 09:16 PM

i really need to figure out how to get it to stop logging me in under that other name.

so maybe "90%" is an exaggeration after looking back a few pages. i guess my message is to take a little pride in your wheel selection. wheels will make/break your car, and when you have ugly wheels, it's one thing. if you have poor fitting wheels, it's another... and when you have both ugly wheels and poor fitment, it's just a shame.

i guess, coming from the drift scene, i'm used to regularly seeing cars, (s-chassis, etc) rocking wheels that are worth more than the car. then coming here, it's the exact opposite. nice/expensive cars with cheap wheels.

stock would be better than cheap wheels.

Small Update.

Attachment 713843

I ditched the side skirts and KSP rear wing. Painted the RP-01 Black. 18x8.5+35 & 9.5+38

Attachment 713844

i drove it wingless for a while and got some new suspension but I haven't dropped it yet..

Attachment 713845

But after the quake in Japan, i may have to sell it soon. No money.
I finished the graphics and reinstalled to wing to see what direction it "COULD" take.

but unlikely seeing the finiancial climate I am in.

Russ.

Target = Dumped + feed skirts and needs a splitter for finality. Just have to use Photoshop and dream.
