How to plug the Leading Spark Plug Wires in the coils ?

Dumb question (again)
I'm replacing my spark plug wires (OEM mazda) and I'm struggling to plug the Leading wires .
For the trailing wires, no problems. But I've spent 20 minutes for plugging-in Leading 2 and it seems it's not entirely plugged in yet (still missing some millimeters) I even tried to put some WD40 with no success...
There's not a lot of room there, even with my thin fingers... Am I the only one in this case ?

I've read somewhere we can use the blunt end of a screwdriver, I understand this for the blue trailing ones, but for the leading ones it sounds like impossible to me...

Anyway, I'll try again tomorow with copper-di-electric-grease

Are you trying to install Magnecor wires? :eek:
If you are, take a look at this thread

I forgot to indicate it in my message, I'm installing OEM wires.

Then you are headed in the right direction. A little dielectric grease and a piece of solid core wire to allow the air to escape, as described in the Magnacor thread, should make the job easier.

I tried with some dielectric grease, it was easy to plug the wire in the coil, but again, it looked like it wasn't totally inserted... actually worst than before, the rubber seems 5mm away from the end. And no matter how hard I push, it's not moving any further at all. But, I think the metal plug inside seems correctly inserted though. And if I gently pull the wire, it seems well plugged and doesn't move. So... I don't know really...
Is it dangerous to start the engine if the Leading wires aren't well inserted ? I guess it can not be good... maybe even not start with only the Trailing wires connected ? Can I damage something if I try ?
