Floor mats still available anywhere?

I visited my local dealer who's always been able to get even the most rare OEM parts for the FD, and he came up with a big goose egg when researching stock OEM floor mats for sale.

My driver's side mat has lost the backing and tends to want to bunch up, and I'd like to replace it.

You've got limited options:

Order from Ari, who is an OG Rotary Stud: RX7.COM | FD Interior Accessories

Or send a PM to JasonS, who can make you up mats with custom lettering/symbols.... but not the 'RX-7' logo because it's trademarked and the new boss is a pain in the azz

The JasonS floor mats are the way to go, WAY better quality than the OEM mats. All the guys in Pensacola got them and they've been doing awesome.

The OEM floor mats have been out of production for MANY years now.

I wonder if there is any way to repair/replace the backing material? The mat itself is in good shape the logo is great, it's just gone all limp. Needs the floormat version of Viagra...

Maybe LHD only ?
I was thinking of buying brand new S8 floor mats recently and iirc there was 4 different kind that were available at almost 1K though.

Yeah, there are a ton of JDM floor mats new and used out there. But they won't fit right on a LHD car, people have used them but the fit is really crappy.

In the US there was only (from what I have seen) black and tan floor mats.

I was very disappointed when I realized Jason can no longer make mats with the the OEM style RX-7 logo...so I found a local company (here in Europe) who made me a set. They do not sow in the logo like OEM, but rather hot press the logo onto the mat.

I'm very happy with the results. The quality seems good and the logo turned out nice.

Sorry for the crappy pics, Its time to buy a new phone, oh and ignore the random black dots, my camera lens is messed up...

Yeah the foam is degrading on all of the floor mats by now, no way around that. Got any tan ones?

It's been awhile, but from memory they're good quality--- they just lack the 'RX-7' emblem.

We're now doing OEM FD, FC and FB floor mats. There are a couple different styles (fabrics) along with custom colored serging and really cool 'RX-7' shields (like the JDM models had from the factory).

Here's a quick link:

My new mats
Just put them in today - decided to go for Anthricite Black, red border and logo
Found the shop completely by chance, 3 day turn-around
Had Diamond Cut ones (metal) which I actually quite liked and wanted a change

^ Yep. I got a set from GA as well. Was pleased enough with the mats I later sprung for a matching hatch ‘mat’. Aluminum emblems and seems to be wearing well. Fit was at least as good as OEM.

I got the garage alpha ones as well with the metal emblem. They're really nice. I got the mid-tier ones (GT I think they're called), but for a permanent, long-term solution the Lux tier ones would probably last longer.
