Interesting car. Sold for $17,250. Seems about right for a good but non-collectible FD.

It was an MB, Tan interior, non R model. Bidding seemed heated near the end. Sale price was a bit higher than what I had in mind.

I'm sure the recent repaint and rebuild accounted for the strong-ish price.

Interesting that earlier the price said 22 something and I thought that was HIGH!!!

17,500 is perfect for that car

You might've been looking at two different cars, or considering fees?
Arghx bought the 95 listed previously for 22.

Don't know what's up The 95 sold for 20. Earlier someone posted the link in one of my for sale threads and after clicking on it I could have sworn the price was 22k plus (like 22250).

Anyway, just read through the comments and people think this was a good deal so it's 100 percent official the FD has come a long way over the last 5 years and will likely go up in value another 5 to 10k over the next 5 years.

When 25 year old MB/tan FDs with 115k miles are selling for those kinds of prices at auctions it means only one thing. The FD IS A COLLECTOR CAR!
