^^Probably thinking of a compressor wheel letting go, usually the nut coming off, rather than anything coming out of the engine shearing the turbine off.
In those cases, have found bits a couple of feet away from the disintegration site. Usually can be cleaned out of ICs and air filters without a huge effort. Ric Shaw here sells a dual pass SMIC, AVO used to do a SP replica bar and plate one too, maybe still? |
