Yep. Was around 150$ for the whole thing I believe.

It's pretty decent. The only strange thing I've noticed with it is the blade mechanism doing some weird "stalling" sort of like a 3krpm hesitation every once in a while.

If it stalls try to reground it ,if that does not fix it get a newer ECU for the electric motor . hehehehe ,, Really can you tighten the return spring like on the older Delta machines . That is what you do to them when the blade buckles .

My mechanic uses a band saw alot . He did cut the uim brackets off that way as you can see in his engine pictures . Rotorbrain made his intercooler end tanks on the saw .The etb parts are cut on a band saw with a master pattern so all of the parts are the same . Get a small wood cutting saw and slow the blade speed down . Put on the correct type blade and cut away . Or buy a more expensive metal cutting saw if you are going to use it alot .

Never been power washed, or washed down with water or degreaser.

Most I've done was use a rag to clean it off when taking out the rat's nest. I don't have a ton of blow-by issues under my hood, so things tend to stay relatively clean.

Clayne, as always, thats an awesome job. It was probably a little more work than necessary, but it ended up looking factory, and probably functioning that well too. Nice work!

Wow, your engine bay is *** clean compared to mine. Anyways, great job on that relocation -- too bad my cruise control is in the way.

That looks very good....my engine is not in right now and my coils are starring at me......Hmmm, coil relocation project?? hahaha...Very impressive though. You decided to move your coils but didn't bypass the throttle body coolant lines? Thats the same place I put my HKS twin power as well. I've seen it mounted in some other places like on the firewall, but that seems like the best place for it.

I have no TB coolant lines anywhere. I even plugged the nipples coming out of the block (am going to tap and npt plug them however) and removed the nipple off of the TB.

Yep. Alot of people don't try it because they don't want to enlarge the hole on their twin power to fit a stock Mazda 10 mm.

Guess, I didn't stare at the picture too much, I thought I saw a line going to the TB...my mistake I also need to put that on my things to do list.

I debated about moving my coils when installing the new reman. Decided against it as it's a cleaner look w/o the coils. I used thermo-tec fabric to wrap around the top of the block as a heat insulator against heat transfer into the rat's nest and the coils.

Stock coils have 100K on them and using them with HKS Twin w/o any issues.

Long-term update:

No problems or issues (except I'll replace the black bolts with stainless for obvious reasons). Coils and wires are still running strong.

I've seen a car with a relocated battery that has the coils moved up to the battery tray area. It came out very clean as well.
