Window conversion

Hey, just curious if anyone here had ever done a power to mechanical window conversion. I am a smoker so the window usage is daily, thus i am tired of changing, rebuilding, and buying drivers side window switches. I actually miss the old human powered variety.... any info or comments will be appriciated.

Thanks

David

Shouldn't be too hard.. There might already be posts on here... Just search. If not it should be a simple swap.

i wouldnt recommend it. but i understand if your windows keep failing. if you have a convertible you will have to make the manual rails fit to the door.

but converting it to manual will take the manual window regulators, and manual door panels, and of course the window crank lever... i think thats all it would take...

Thanks, I actually found a complete set up for the drivers side on ebay. Its a 88 GXL by the way, so the vert complications wouldn't apply. My door handle also needs to be replaced so the panel is already off, speaking of which, have yall ever had to replace those before?
