Who sells a Stainless Steel turbo exhaust flange?!

I found Mazdatrix sells a MILD steel flange, but does anyone know where to get a stainless steel flange for stock S4 turbo? Building a custom exhaust for anyone interested :).

Thanks,

Andrew

What is wrong with the mild steel? It'll hold up just fine and shouldn't rust out anytime soon. Stainless (if you are going for looks) is going to discolor the first time it heats up.

If I were to build a stainless steel exhaust system, I also would want a stainless flange, and stainless hangers for that matter.

Racing beat flanges are mild also.

If you get hard up let me know and I might make some. I loathe machining stainless though, which is why I've been trying to find a source for them.

Yes I'm looking to do a custom FULL stainless system with V-band connectors. So a SS flange would be necessary. I am also looking into having one CNC'd. Anyone interested in a group buy? :)

Thanks,

Andrew

ok Maybe I missed it but I couldn't find a flange on their site.

On the subject of exhaust flanges though. If the price is right I'd be willing to pick up 1-3, although I had planned on making my own because I want separate flanges for each port, or at the least to have the portion that would be in contact with the center iron raised so it would no longer be in contact.

The thermal expansion/transfer rates are different between aluminium and cast iron and not having the flange in contact with the center iron should help reduces the chances of warping/cracking on a turbo manifold.

We are talking about a turbo exhaust flange. Turbo-exhaust so where the turbo mates with the downpipe.

Opps my bad..... I was all excited at the thought on not having to chew u a few end mills making my flanges.
