What's wrong witm my car, help here!!!

well i bean having a problem and i really don't know what it is, if i start the car, run for a little while and then shut it off, when i try to start the car again it won't start. sometimes i have to like try to start the car pushing the key front and back many times so it can start but 70% of the times it won't start. my only remedy is to push the car and start it in a gear. people have told me that it has to be that my car is overheating but i recently mount a koyo rad and the temperature runs much lower than when i had the stock radiator. the temperature never goes above the normal tempreature that i had with my stock radiator. i don't know what it is and im getting pissed because i can't take the car anywhere until i solve this, that is unless i like to push my car everywhere to start it. hell no.

From what you posted, it sounds like it could be flooded. Look in the 2nd gen faqs for how to de-flood.

^^^+1 that is what i was heading for but if it is flooded then you can fix it a few different ways.....install a toggle switch for your fuel pump and shut the pump off about 2 seconds before shutting off your engine....or replace your injectors they may be leaking.

deflooding is easy. under the hood on the fuses remove the second fuse i think it is and crank it over for about 10 second out the fuse back in and start it. it will smoke for a sec cause its buring up the gas but thats how you deflood a flooded 7. im sure its the second fuse

^^well that is one way but an easier way to do it is if it is mildly flooded then push the gas peddle all the way down and then start it.....if that doesnt work then find a yellow plug under the dash right above your right leg, unplug it then push the pedal to the floor that should start it very easily and yes it will smoke quite a bit

its really weird because if i try to start the car after i shut if off it doesn't crank over but if i let the car sit like 15 or 20 minutes the car crank's over.

so you drive your TII and shut it off? dont you have to idle a turbo car so you will avoid coking of oil on your lines?

what is "run for a little while" for you? do you shut it off before your engine reaches normal operating temperature?

holy thread resurrection batman...and you only have to let the turbo cool down after a hard drive...

thats why a turbo timer is kind of a waste

nyahahah, sorry... wasn't paying attention on the date. tired from installing koyo rad, replacing waterpump, fuel filter (inhaling fuel fumes got me a little high hehehe) and installing an SMP oil filter pedestal, oil pressure gauge and oil temp gauge in 6 hours
