This is probably a wing for an FC coupe, but what company makes it?

gxlbiscuit 12-27-04 08:24 PM

that might be an rmagic wing.....

RETed 12-28-04 03:13 AM

I hope it is...
Cause if it's made for the vert, it won't fit a coupe.

Yea, it looked like the R-Magic wing to me too, but I wasn't sure if their wing for the coupe would fit on the vert...

Anyone else?

drcoopster 12-28-04 07:36 PM

One of the reasons that the coupe wings don't fit the vert is probably because of the trunk lid; something to keep in mind.

Infini IV 12-28-04 07:52 PM

I'm sure there are ways to secure the wing on just the trunk lid.

Its an ugly one

Uh, are you serious...

It's 30 minutes and a bunch of washers.
You need to remove the fender to make it easy though...

What the hell are you talking about. The hood would fold in half before it cut through the A-pillar.

Yeah I know, but its still funny to think about. Esp. if the car had a full race cage, hoods slice right through that mandrel bent reinforcement yo! Either way, it makes the hinges look broken. Maybe if the hood had been formed so it closes th gap on the sides, and leaves the gap for the cowl before the wipers... that might be cool

RETed 12-30-04 04:50 AM

I guess you guys have never seen the front end crumple.
The hinges are a soft metal that bends before they shear.
Any force upon them cause the hood to fold before the hinges shear.

Isn't that pretty much what I said. Even if they did which is unlikely the hood would have already started to fold and would bounce off the a-pillar and land on the ground.
