Water Trick vac source
 

hello everyone
I've been reading alot about the water treatment for a long time. I was wondering which nipple should i use on a S5 TII, can I use the one below the BAC? that one is connected to my Pressure sensor though since i have the ACV removed...

if i shouldn't use this vac source, which one should I use? also are there any pictures of which one to use? (S5 TII pics would be most helpful)

also is it fine to use that line with the Pressure sensor disconnected? It will run at 0 mmHg and i saw in one post, all it takes is to reset the ECU to get it back working. anything wrong with running thru that line?

yea you can use the nipple your talking about but just keep the motor running at 4k rpm or above when doing this.. it only takes about 1 minute to go threw a gallon of water but i went threw 2 gallons just to make sure things got done the first time around then i went behind that with 2 10 oz cans of seafoam... all and all my motor feels better and there are oily stains where my exhoust was sitting then. some will say this is a gimmick and will couse problems but i stand by it.. just one thing after you do it take the car out for a good half hour ride.. you really don't need to get on it at this time u just want to make sure you blow everything out and dry up whats left after you do these treatments..

Intake medic works great! And you should regulate the amount of water going through by pinching the hose. Just leting it full out suck, is brings to much water in "so I have read".

i've read ALOT of negative comments on Seafoam on the forum... water is fine, and of course the "proper" way to do it as many suggest, that and i also trust Rotary Resurrection. anyone else have a take on it?

also, so i should pinch the vac hose that is feeding the water to let it suck slower right?

If you let to much water in by just leting it suck wide open from the hose to much water hits the rotor and never turns to steam, defeating the purpose.

make sure you take youe exaust off first. when i did this on my car i got the exaust so hot it melted my bumper. but the car ran smoother and idled better. so i was really happy about it. still dont know why mine got so freeking hot to this day i think i did somthing wrong but i dont know

I wouldn’t take the exhaust off now. That’s your choice anyhow. The steam created is hot and causes your exhaust just to get that way as well causes the engine to run lean. The manifold will normally turn bright red as along with the cats. No worry’s though.

ok, since if i used the nipple below the BAC the pressure sensor will yield 0 bars and then the car MIGHT run funky for a while....

i drilled and tapped a nipple there for a vac source... can i use that one??

Usually oil is the reason why the exhaust heats up, it turns in to tar inside the exhaust piping and heats up. The good news is you cleaned out alot of oil build up.

you can use any nipple just as long as its after the TB.
