Turbo intake mani on an N/A......
I was wonderin What the advantages would be if I took and s5 turbo intake manifold and out it in an s4 N/A car, if any. I was just wondering about this the other day. Good idea or bad idea?

if he uses the upper and lower intake manifolds why wouldnt it work?

you could convert to port that way then bridge port it.. :)

Most engine builders will agree that if you want serious power through some good porting, the 4 port is the only way to go. You can equalize the size of the ports better. Won't retain driveability as well as the 6 port, but then hey.

The only advantage would be that it's shorter than the N/A, but I'm sure the guys at Mazda made it that long for a reason. I wouldn't mess with it. Why fix it if it ain't broken?

There's no advantage to doing this. Even though the parts will bolt on, you'll loose power for the reasons already stated in this thread.
