turbo and gtu diff case the same?

are the 88 turbo rear diff casing and the gtu casing the same? this thread says they both have 4.1 final so im assuming i could take a lsd from a 88 turbo and put it into a gtu case? thansk

No. Turbo diff is larger. Same final doesn't affect it -- just means they have the same number of teeth on ring/pinion gear

The turbo diffs and NA diffs are not interchangeable. You would have to swap the housings if you were not putting in the same kind of diff (na vs. turbo).
