tII intake on N/A motor

can the TII intake bolt on to the n/a motor or does it need to be modified

Turbo uses 4 intake ports, NA uses 6...

The intake would not match

I know of a guy who port matched the lower T2 intake to a 6 port motor. He just opened the port enough to cover the 5th and 6th ports. He runs a T2 set up on a N/A motor.

I would think a better approach would be using a NA lower manifold and custom matching it to a T2 upper manifold/dynamic surge/TB.

Yeah I was wondering about using the UIM/dynamic surge/TB on my N/A. It looks like the TII parts have shorter runner and would therefore help Hi-End Performance, anyone willing to aggree?

I think longer runners are better for high rpm.

um no that wont work. and it would be a waist of time. jsut go with the 89 n/a manifold. that will give u some hp

First, I read on the fourm that shorter is better.

And why wouldn't it give you any gains? Give a little insight would you please.

NA lower manifold wont clear the turbo and manifold, right. Wasnt someone doing a conversion with the NA manifold? I think he had to make a spacer to bump the turbo out further. Then the wastegate actuator woundt clear the frame rail.
I think your better off with a real TII motor or just a TII intake manifold.
