is a Tii a decent highway car?

im just wondering if a Tii will be a decent road trip car. if anyone has any experence with them and takein them on long trips it would be nice to hear some stories.as of right now i dont think i have to worry about gas mileage. here are my mods.

Microtech LT-8
corksport 3' exhaust
3' downpipe/presilencer
780cc secondarys
walbro 255 fuel pump
fresh rebuilt motor
no emmissions
stock IC, stock Turbo
street ported internals

thats about it,
thanks,
Daniel

I thought you were gonna ask if it was good for racing on the highway :-p .

how many miles on the rebuild? The first few miles might be rough b/c low compression. If it's broken in there shouldn't be a problem.

it all depends on how loud is your exhaust and how hard is your suspension :)

when u are traveling alone or in 2 ppl, its good car for trips .... never had problems to drive 10+ hours in one day in TII....

Woo!

I drove from Vancouver, WA to Dallas, TX and back in less than a week in my 10 AE, other than a broken thermostat and a bit of overheating it was fine, I say go for it.

If the road is good, go for it! I have used my old T2 for long road trips and when the road is clear (And smooth) you can gooble up large amnounts of pavement in short amounts of time! :)
Curvey roads are also a blast to "Boost" through! Sounds like a cool road trip to me!
