Throttle Body Help

First off my throttle response and idle has never been the same as it use to, plus it doesn't warm up as quickly as it should (it takes a while for the idle to drop down from 1.5k RPM). This is mostly likely due to the fact that there maybe some vacuum lines hooked up incorrectly or something out of adjustment. Also when it is cold 1.5k RPM the throttle sticks after I release the clutch when it has been under load and sometimes goes up to 2k and above, but does not happen after its warmed up.

Do the secondary throttle plates look to be at the correct angle? (The motor is cold)

Here are some more pics...

Thanks for your help!

Yo I have the same problem. Let me know if you get a good answer.....I'm thinking of porting my throttle body later on for a better power gain. Anyways, good luck!

the thermowax will hold the throttle open slightly when the engine is cold. this is normal. sometimes the thermowax will get corroded and clogged up with calcium deposits from the cooling system and vaccume leaks there are possible as well, causing the thermowax to not work properly. this may result in the thermowax sticking and holding the throttle open at the cold start range, even with the engine at normal operating temperature.

ah ok, so it sounds like i might consider take the TB all apart, clean it and adjust to FSM spec.

i always wondered if I hooked up my vac. lines correctly on the TB, kinda confusing, plus in the FSM it is hard to distinguish where the vac. lines exactly go to on the TB.

Thanks
