Testing engine with engine out?

Oops I got it off awhile ago but thanks. Quite simple...

Other question is how can I tell if the engine has good compression. I turned it over with a wrench on the front pulley nut and heard hissing sounds. Then I felt the apex seals by hand and all were smooth and had slight amount of springage but allitle inconsistent with some others I felt. Some were tighter others were noticably springy.

you would need a fuel supply and a tranny bell housings. Install the bell housing and a starter. Hook up the fuel lines. Put on some hearing protectors and connect a battery to the starter. Let me know how it works out.

Ok I cranked over the engine with both my wrench on the pulley and also cranked the engine over. It hissed both. The rear has lots of flooding in rear rotor because it shot out gas but thats from the injectors that I left in there when the pump ran. Sorry to confuse but this car has a switch for the pump to run without the darn key in but I switched it off. So It looks good but I will put a tester to it. It just doesent crank fast enoughf but I think thats how turbos are. My N/A cranked fast...
