tell me if i am looking at this wrong.

this is for a supercharger.

i took out my air pump. and have lots of room now. i was looking at my uncles superchargers he had laying around that i could have. stock ones or not from cars he chopped up, cut up, and ripped out the engines. well there is one that doesnt hook to the tb. or sits on top of the engine. it has a hole on the left to suck in air and a hole back right to push out. and is about 1.5 times bigger than an altenator. i know for sure i can make a bracket were my old air pump went. the question is. i am not a big mechanic guy and want to know what i am missing. like my air flow meter wont read this right, right? idk. ur help would be appreciated. also it has a big pully i could take off to make it spool faster. and what my uncles says. is on the back a idler adjuster. so when u are at low or just idling it will stay steady. hopefully this makes sense and any comments will help.

Uh..3" diameter opening on the back? Are you looking at a SUPERCHARGER or a TURBO?...

look ... first you have to make sure the pully willbe spun in the right direction then you have to think of a way to get the air efficently into your motor . and ther of course all your nessary tuning needs ... IMO superchargers are totaly not worh the effort nor the money especialy on rotary engines ... they dont produce nearly enough tq to aquire your mak potential .. did you know alsmot 20% of your engines power can go to turning somthing as simple as a clutch fan in these cars ... so if you can imagine a secong fan but not on a clutch so the higher you rev the harder your motoer will have to work to spin it ... its just not worth the effort .. more of a loss IMO

I had to post this.. It seems every supercharger thread gets a bit crazy and I am offering some comic relief. :)

because I do such a good job at customizing it for you. Hey your Front mounted interfooler is ready by the way. As well as your neon underbody kit for an extra 15 hp. (if some of you don't get that this is sarcasm, please find a cliff, and drive off of it)

[note: although an oversized S. Charger is not ricey, it is the american equivalent of ricer <hot doger?> so that is how I related them, the hot dogging is more functional, but often more rambunctions and radical when there are toehr more efficient approaches (i.e. turbos etc.)]
