Suspension options in 2026
I'm replacing my blown out shocks and I'm just curious what others are running now. I know, there's probably 20 threads on suspension for the fc. I know there's tons of good options for coilovers, but I'm more curious about just keeping shocks/struts and upgrading them. As time goes on, it seems like many of the good options for struts/shocks are gone, leaving basically only kybs and Bilsteins. I'm assuming most opt to just run some decent big name coilovers and call it a day. I'm not opposed to coilovers, but I also don't feel like I really don't need all the adjustment and a set of well valved struts/shocks would work fine for me.
KYB AGX's are still available and most have nothing but good things to say about them. I think some people are running them with the Eibach springs and are happy with them.
I was going to get them at one time but ended up going with coil overs. Mostly for the extra clearance for the wheels I wanted to run in the front. I went with Redshift Coil overs. I got the competition ones which are BC Racing ones that have been revalved for the track. They have since introduced a street version that is slightly cheaper. I have nothing but good things to say about mine. I went with slightly softer springs since I only drive on the street. 6kg front/ 4kg rear and they don't seem to have that pogo stick beat you to death feeling that some complain about coil overs having. Don't get me wrong they are still stiff but livable. As for adjustability. Really the only extra adjustability they have is in the ride height which is nice in that your not stuck with what height the springs that fit stoct struts give you. You can lower to what you want like I only wanted a 1" drop. You can also set it up so that the lower height is with you in the car.

Ive used KYBs in the past and loved them. Good stuff for the price point. I had a set with Tein springs on my current build, and they just wouldn't work with my set up, and I ended up going to BC coils.
