Very easy to remove. The starter is located on the driver side right next to your trans. All you will need is 1 10mm wrench 2 14 mm wrench and 1 12mm wrench. There are only 2 14mm bolts holding it and one 12 mm bolt for the starter cable but remember to unhook your battery before working on it. But are you sure you battery and alt is good?? You can also try to start the car by hammering on the starter (not too hard) while key is in cranking position(while out of gear).

Are you sure it's not a flat battery? Have you checked its voltage?

Find out what the problem is, then spend money. Not the other way around...

Don't forget to check your grounds too. The best way find out if it is indeed the starter is to lightly tap on the round black thing (solenoid) a couple of times and see if it starts. Don't rely on this method to get you around though.
