Spacers required?
Hi guys,
Quick q's I am trying to sell a set of FD rims and people are telling me that you need spacers to fit FD rims on an FC. The guy for whom I am selling the rims for swears they are currently on his 90 FC with no spacers. At any rate, I am still selling the rims with tires but would like the correct information on spacers. - Michael |
From all that i have heard you NEED spacers to fit them on there.
|
I believe the rear will fit w/out spacers, but fronts need them (i think ¾"?) to avoid rubbing
|
The back will fit fine, the front will require 20mm or so spacers to fit.
|
How much for the set of wheels, btw?
|
Read the FAQ at the top of this section... it covers the size spacers you will need to fit them on a FC
|
hey i was looking at my fd rotors(brake rotors) and it looks like they have the 20mm spacing but im not sure, i was thinking of puting them on the fc to try them out but i wasnt sure. does anyone know about this?

$400.00 shipped but just look under the for sale ads (2nd gen) under "rxsevensport" for more info.
-Michael and thanks to all those who responded to my q's. |
well, just fyi if you sell the rims and the buyer needs spacers for his fc, i can get them in sizes from 15mm to 30mm in 5mm increments, i believe the correct offset is 25 or 30mm depending on the tires you run.

Ok cool.....
I told my buddy to take the front FD rims off and sure enough.... spacers. Just selling the rims and tires though... anyone? How about 380.00 shipped? (4) tires (4) rims shipped to your door! - Michael "poor college student" thanks for the info will definately keep in touch! |
If this is going to turn into a for sale post, I will move it over to the for sale section
