I was freakin surprised.
1988 GXL with a Kevin Landers (Rotary Resurrection) rebuild with about 50k miles. New catalytic converters put on 2 years ago. Here are my readings: 25/25 test HC ppm Reading Allowed 28 174 CO% 0.00 1.12 NOx ppm 464 1258 CO+CO2% 13.5 6.0 min 25/50 Test Reading Allowed HC ppm 24 180 NOx ppm 0.00 1.01 CO+CO2% 13.6 6.0 min |

i tested my shit with no fucken cat
it almost passed. ALMOST. i need to run e85, retune it, and see how well it does. lol. |
It's much easier to pass than people seem to think. A new-ish cat and a functional airpump/ACV, and you're set. My last test was a breeze, even with CA's overkill requirements.

In Memphis i ran my car through the test with all emissions crap on it. It failed miserably. Then swapped that motor into another car and removed all the emissions stuff except the cat and air pump. Passed with alot of room to spare. Go figure.
