still trying to get my 86 running...
tried the whole ATF in lower spark plug chambers, and it was soooooo fucking close to starting...
im going to check the compression on it, and then if its good ill probably take it in...any suggestions on things to check before i take it in?
backround info: the whole fuel pump and fuel tank was rusted to shit......

question...
if you have really old oil in it would it prevent it from starting somewhat?
i heard thick oil is bad for starting so would an oil change help at all giving it that extra kick it needs to get going?

charcoal canister (carbon canister or vapor canister) same thing people just call them different things its part of emmissions that collects excess fuel vapor from the tank and stores it for use when starting the vehicle instead of venting it into the atmosphere
