Snapped Studs on 13bt turbo water line

Has anyone had any luck removing these studs?

any advise would be much appreciated Thanks Normally the double nut method or a stud extractor is preferred, but with how uneven that broke I'd just just to vice grips. Soak them in PB for a day or two and go for it. |
thanks for the advise Dan, the problem i face is there is not much room to get a decent turn on the stud, unless i remove power steering line etc..
I will weld a nut on tonight and hope to get it out that way without another break. fingers crossed |
Welding a nut on will probably work as you'll be heating up the aluminum also, just don't let it cool too long or you'll still fight it

thanks for the responses.
I managed to get one with the vice grip and surgically welded the nut back on the other one and got that off too. they were not as tight as i thought they were going to be. very good result! |
