some times when i accelerate past 3800 rpms there is a small hesitation from my secondarys, it kind of cuts out for a split second and then kicks in hard. what could be?

Very common problem. Do a search for "3800rpm hesitation" and you'll get about a million hits...

 

dammit search ID's should stick around longer, i put in "hesitation" got 197 threads.
