S5 Vert Flasher issues

I have a 1989 Vert and can’t figure out what’s wrong with my Left turn signal. The right signal and right hazard light works fine but when I turn on the left signal there’s no light on the dash or exterior. When it’s turned on the flasher relay makes a fast paced click noise like it’s trying to work. I’ve tested for power at the bulb and it gets nothing

Back in the day one my old cars would have the quick flash when a bulb was dead. I know some older car have relays. I would listen for the click and see if it is a relay or other. Test and replace if necessary. Also, I would disconnect every bulb that activates when the turn signal works and test the bulbs/wiring. If that doesn't work, it might be schematic time. Unless there are some better ideas here.

i had one just like that, and i changed bulbs, but it turned out to be a bad solder joint in the flasher unit.
do the bulbs first though, i have seen them both fail at once, more than once

Replaced both front and rear bulbs, still nothing but a fast paced click and no turn light on the dash or outside the car. Is the flasher unit and flasher relay the same thing? And how would I know if that’s what’s causing my issues

yep, same thing. you'd have to have a look at it to see if its the problem. it is a simple circuit though, switch, flasher unit, wires, sockets and bulbs...

I pulled the CPU and think I might have found my issue. Using the Manual in the link below I’ve tried diagnosing, but on my car I only have connector D which is referred to as the DLR Unit. I don’t have connector C which is the turn and hazard unit. However the pin out on matches the hazard and flasher unit on page T-33. Assuming this is what I’m meant to be working with, the connector 3h looks either burnt or corroded. I don’t see any issues on the board itself but I’m also not an electrical expert and don’t exactly know what I’m looking for. Using a multimeter on pin 3h, it struggles to get a read. I’m assuming this is my issue, I’m just thrown off by the piece being called the DLR unit
