I have a s4 na w/ an aggressive street port, stock exhaust diffusers, RB road race header, aeroturbine resonator and fart can muffler......very loud, can't hear yourself think, makes your ears ring/bleed ....was hoping the resonator would help...I was wrong. I will be redoing my exhaust very soon lol.

Now I wonder if I use Turbo Housing on NA, how loud would it be ?

Theres a very significant difference I wouldn't recommend it unless your building some monster port race car

those exhaust port diffusers do wonders

That actually sounds real nice! My car was stupid loud as I had it with rb road race header, straight pipe all the way back to two mufflers with no name but sounds good haha. But after about 3500 rpm you could not hear anything else but the exhaust, was impossible to talk or think!

What did you say?

Buddy you dont know what loud is. I ran RB roadrace header to straight pipe with a summit racing muffler with my streetport n/a for yrs.

I couldn't hear you.

So, I finally got the presilencer on. Never have to smog her again either!

Sounds wonderful.

The best way to describe it, it's mellow and deep at low rpms, but as soon as the secondary ports open, you start getting that race car sound, but without the chainsaw noise rotaries like to give.

I freaking love it.

If it isn't raining like crazy tommorow (it might) I'll post a vid.

I also like that we have another rotary head in Rockwall.

Better do a flyby, too. Just for good measure.

I think it's interesting that everyone talks about how loud (or not) their car is but no one mentions whether the exhaust is actually helping/hindering power.

Presumably, y'all's dream vehicle would be an unmuffled Harley.

Doesn't really help power at all in the bottom end, but helps immensely 3.5k and up.

I have no header, just manifold. From what I've been told, adding a header will give you more power, but it isn't worth the noise. I don't mind loud, but I do not like the chainsaw noise. Ain't worth it.
